Shortage Control Associate

Join our team as a Shortage Control Associate and contribute to a secure shopping environment while delivering exceptional customer service!

• Exhibit command presence and monitor store entrances, exits, and high‑risk areas to reduce opportunities for theft and shoplifting.
• Greet every customer with a confident, friendly, and energetic welcome with eye contact and a smile.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times, wearing the designated dress standards and radio/earpiece.
• Conduct bag and package checks on store and corporate associates.
• Identify and report theft incidents and suspicious subjects to the Manager on Duty.
• Support and guide associates in shortage reduction programs and processes.
• Participate in store rallies, collaborate with the Manager on Duty, and communicate theft‑prevention information.
• Provide training support for shortage reduction programs and processes.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of all information.
• Review, analyze, and comprehend business trends.

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and visually monitor the store environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to exhibit a positive demeanor, strong posture, and energetic greeting.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment with detailed focus and disciplined decision making.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and co‑workers.
• Excellent leadership skills that support fostering productive business relationships.
