Responsibilities
  • Business Ownership – Promotes the full portfolio of priority products with multiple HCP specialties; understands the marketplace within the territory and tailors the territory strategy to grow and own business outcomes; navigates the ever-changing healthcare environment and payer landscape to increase understanding of accounts and become a trusted partner; utilizes data and analytics to identify trends, priorities, opportunities, and potential obstacles;

    implements and adopts new technologies, including the integration of AI company-approved tools and other analytical capabilities to streamline customer interactions; identifies and advocates for new opportunities to enhance the customer experience; models a growth mindset to create positive experiences.
  • Selling Skills / Customer Experience – Embraces and uses the company’s selling, competency and account management models to elevate performance; demonstrates high learning agility to understand disease state, marketplace, clinical trials, and product label; promotes the BU portfolio by planning for and engaging in patient-centered dialogues with customers.
  • Execution / Results – Promotes across BU-portfolio and across HCP specialties, driving consistent ways of working within the Regional Health Care Market; achieves targeted sales and execution metrics while adhering to company policies and procedures; owns the customer relationship for product promotion, on-label medical questions, and general market access; holds self-accountable for results and performance across all accounts; builds and maintains relationships with internal and external partners to foster trust and collaborative success.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Professional certification or license required to perform this position if required by a specific state.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization or visas for this role, including but not limited to F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, J-1, H-1B, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, or L-1.
Additional Skills / Preferences
  • Demonstrated business ownership skills, selling/customer experience skills, and execution/results.
  • Account based selling experience. Ability to identify and engage staff members in accounts.
  • Strong learning agility, self-motivated, team focused, and emotionally intelligent.
  • Bilingual skills as aligned with territory and customer needs.
  • Residence within 30 miles of the territory boundary.
