Job Overview

Outside Sales Consultant – Austin, TX. Must be located in Austin. Salary + commissions (paid monthly) + bonus opportunity.

About Us

Dry Force is urgently hiring Outside Sales Consultants for full-time positions in Austin. NO COLD CALLING! NO DOOR TO DOOR SALES! Sales professionals who have had door-to-door roles excel, but this role relies on HOT LEADS pre‑qualified by our customer service team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide solutions to homeowners in their time of need by quickly building trust, showing empathy, and explaining Dry Force’s capabilities.
  • Evaluate nature of loss and prepare proposed job scope using moisture meters and other company‑provided technology.
  • Prepare proposed engagement for homeowner, secure work authorization, and coach homeowner through payment options while onsite.
  • Stabilize moisture content of affected areas by beginning the drying process and setting homeowner expectations for subsequent work.
  • Communicate job status with customers, company management, and insurance carriers.
  • Process all documentation and ensure it is completed in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • Highly motivated, strong work ethic, enjoy the selling process (3+ years of outside selling experience).
  • Ability to build rapport easily and establish trust, leading to lasting customer relationships.
  • Strong communication skills – interpersonal, written, presenting.
  • Effective at presenting information to customers one‑on‑one and in small groups.
  • Comfortable working outside and in confined spaces like crawl spaces and attics.
  • Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices (tablets) and documenting details using electronic devices.
  • Valid driver’s license and successful background/drug test clearance.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed, some holidays, and weather‑related surge events.
