This is a full-time, on-site New Home Sales/Design Consultant role based in Round Rock, TX. The consultant will guide prospective home buyers from initial inquiry through closing, including greeting visitors, responding to leads, and scheduling and conducting in-person sales appointments. Day-to-day responsibilities include understanding customer needs, presenting floor plans and design options, preparing estimates, and explaining financing programs and building timelines. The role involves coordinating design selections, updating buyers on project status, maintaining accurate records in the CRM system, and collaborating with construction, finance, and design teams.
The consultant will also support model home presentation, participate in local marketing and outreach activities, and follow up consistently to build long-term customer relationships.
- Experience in new home sales, residential real estate, or related consultative sales roles, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Knowledge of home design, floor plans, and basic construction concepts, with the ability to explain features, options, and building processes clearly to customers.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, including active listening and the ability to build trust with diverse buyers.
- Proficiency with CRM or sales-tracking software, email, and standard office applications; comfort working with digital design tools is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple prospects and projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and maintain detailed documentation and follow-up schedules.
- Willingness to work on-site model home hours, including some evenings and weekends as needed to support customer appointments and events.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and reliability, with a solutions-focused approach and commitment to an inclusive, respectful workplace.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or a degree in business, marketing, design, or a related field is preferred.
- Current real estate license is beneficial but not required; prior experience with homebuilding or mortgage/financing concepts is a plus.
