Responsibilities- Auto Body Technician’s primary responsibility is to provide an exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and quality repair to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition.
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while aligning with the company’s goals of speed, quality, and customer excellence.
- Work with team members to achieve repair facility KPIs and act as a Brand Ambassador for the company.
- Ensure consistent execution of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
- Plan repairs, prepare cost estimates for customers, and use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers.
- Hammer out dents, apply filler resins when needed, realign chassis and frames, and replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts. Replacing or repairing glass, windshields, and interior parts as needed.
- Weld, fit parts, and prepare/repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or equivalent. Complete work orders within labor guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
- Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to collaborate with other repairers within an auto body shop.
- Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies and how to use required tools.
- Must be able to work safely in a noisy environment with odors present.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to visually inspect vehicle damage in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to bend, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.

CompensationPay ranges: $80,000 to $150,000+ with flat rate hourly pay. Compensation is commensurate with location, skill, education, and experience. If total compensation in a pay period falls below minimum wage, guaranteed hours will be used to meet local or state minimum wage.
Supplemental Pay:
This position may be eligible for bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
