HVAC Duct Leakage & Air Balance Technician

This role is responsible for performing duct leakage and airbalancing testing of air conditioning systems. This employee should besafety-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in residentialor commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Performduct leakage and air balancing operations using specialized testing equipment
• Prepare and protect work areas before testing
• Inspect and identify problems and correct them during testing to meet municipal andenergy star codes
• Beable to read manual J load calculations and adjust air flow to meetmunicipal and energy star codes
• Operate and maintain testing equipment
• Followall safety procedures, including PPE requirements and job-site protocols
• Workefficiently individually or part of a team and communicate clearly withsupervisors
• Maintain clean, organized job sites and properly dispose of waste materials
• Travelto job sites in a company vehicle
• Residentialand Commercial job sites
• Exposure to dust, noise, and confined spaces (PPE provided)
