We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining avariety of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities- Diagnostic sand Troubleshooting: Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systemmalfunctions, including identifying faulty components and determiningrepair or replacement needs.
- Repairsand Maintenance: Perform a wide range of repairs and maintenance taskson HVAC systems, such as replacing faulty parts, cleaning coils, andcalibrating equipment.
- Installation: Install new HVAC systems, including components like furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and duct work.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, explaining technical issues in easy-to-understand terms, and providing excellent customer service.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including proper handling of refrigerants and electrical equipment.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed,including service reports and inventory logs.
- Continuing
Education:
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technologies, and regulations through ongoing training and certifications.
- $22 - $45/hour
- We also offer commission pay up to $65/hour
- Technical
Skills:
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting, repair, and installation techniques. - Licensing: Valid state-specific HVAC license, if required.
- Communication
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interacteffectively with customers and colleagues. - Problem-Solving
Skills:
Ability to think critically and solve problems efficiently. - Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, andstand for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License: A clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
