Position: Maintenance Technician- 3rd shift (Round Rock, Tx)

About The Role

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous operation and pristine condition of a diverse campus of healthcare facilities, including a hospital, multiple clinics and medical office buildings in Round Rock, TX. This hands‑on position requires comprehensive maintenance, upkeep, and repair of our healthcare facilities, building systems, and equipment. You will be supporting our third shift 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Monday-Friday.

Your efforts will directly support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of critical infrastructure essential to healthcare delivery.

What You'll Do
  • Maintain facilities across the large healthcare campus that includes a hospital and multiple small clinics.
  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on a wide range of building systems, including mechanical, infrastructure, and plumbing.
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections to diagnose potential problems and execute timely repairs, ensuring adherence to building codes and safety regulations.
  • Complete assigned work orders efficiently and accurately, utilizing available systems for tracking and documentation.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance tickets and critical system failures.
  • Perform general plumbing maintenance, including clearing drain clogs, troubleshooting leaks, repairing faucets, and replacing valves and stems.
  • Execute general facility repairs, including ceiling tile replacement, drywall patching, painting, and minor carpentry tasks.
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems as needed.
  • Support energy management initiatives by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
  • Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
  • Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You'll Need
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field, preferably within a healthcare or critical environment setting.
  • Proficiency in a broad range of maintenance disciplines, including plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
