What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and testing on HVAC equipment including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, air handlers, and rooftop units
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to minimize equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance
  • Respond to service calls and building emergencies, troubleshooting problems efficiently and implementing effective solutions
  • Monitor and adjust building automation systems (BAS) to maintain temperature control and energy efficiency standards
  • Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment conditions using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, property managers, and contractors to coordinate system upgrades and major repairs
  • Maintain compliance with all safety protocols, building codes, and environmental regulations while performing daily tasks

Required qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with completion of a recognized HVAC technical training program or apprenticeship
  • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience maintaining and repairing commercial HVAC systems
  • EPA 608 Universal Certification
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC mechanical systems, electrical controls, and building automation systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights, and navigate confined spaces

Preferred qualifications:

  • Journeyman or Master HVAC license (state‑specific where applicable)
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience in commercial real estate
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills

Location: Round Rock,TX

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
