We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) to join our youth crisis facility, where we provide critical support and care for young individuals facing mental health and behavioral challenges. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of youth during their most vulnerable moments, working within a supportive and collaborative environment committed to growth and recovery.
ShiftSchedule
- Daytime Shift - 7am to 7pm (12hr rotating shift)
- Overnight Shift - 7pm to 7am (12hr rotating shift)
- PRN shift (work as needed for call out)
- Monitor and supervise youth in a crisis setting to ensure safety and well‑being
- Cook and serve meals; follow the facility menu as posted
- Complete items listed on the facility chore sheet as directed by the administrator
- Assure all residents are treated with dignity and respect
- Maintain daily chart documentation
- Maintain a safe, clean, and structured environment
- Follow facility policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards at all times
- Be familiar with The Wood Group’s policy and procedures, including the employee handbook

- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Must be 21 years of age
- Additional training in mental health or behavioral support (preferred)
- Prior experience working with youth or in a mental health setting (advantageous)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high‑pressure situations
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others
- Basic knowledge of crisis intervention and de‑escalation techniques
- Ability to work every other weekend (required)
$17.00 per hour
