In the role of Software Development Intern, we'll count on you to:
- Gain real-world experience contributing to software development, automation, and computational design projects.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and developers to create tools, workflows, and solutions that improve project delivery and efficiency.
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and documentation of software applications, scripts, and automation tools.
- Support data analysis, visualization, and integration efforts across multiple platforms and systems.
- Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and agile project activities while learning industry best practices.
- Connect with recent graduates and company leaders through mentoring and professional development programs.
- Perform assignments under the guidance of experienced professionals and project managers.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Completed at least two years toward a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computational Design, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with software development concepts, version control (Git), and problem-solving techniques.
- Exposure to APIs, databases, cloud technologies, data analytics, or computational design tools is a plus.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
- Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
