JOB SUMMARY

Software Engineer I is a member of the Distributed Applications team responsible for supporting the development, maintenance, and testing of web, mobile, Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning (AIML) and legacy applications. Incumbent uses technologies and application development tools to develop, test, implement, and maintain in-house applications and works closely with senior engineers, solution architect, and internal business partners to analyze business requirements, participate in design sessions and develop application features, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of software systems.

The position incumbent is expected to perform the following essential duties and responsibilities with reasonable accommodation.

• Working experience and understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) technologies – Python and/or Java, exploratory data analysis, preprocessing data for ML model development.
• Experience in development and implementation of one or more Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms, models using LLMs and ML services to create business applications.
• AI/ML model training, model validation, performance tuning, and deployment in production.

• Ability to work with CI/CD tools – Atlassian tools, Git Hub, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Maven, Git, SVN, Nexus etc. and IDEs – VS Code, Spring Tool Suite, Eclipse, IntelliJ
• Working knowledge of deploying apps to one or more App servers – Oracle Web Logic, Tomcat etc. and connecting to one or more data bases- SQL Server, DB2, mySQL etc.
• Understand Object-Oriented Design, Unified Modeling Language (UML) Notation, Relational and Non-Relational Standard Query Language (No
