Fitness Instructor; Part-Time

Join the City of Round Rock’s Parks & Recreation team as a Part-Time Fitness Instructor! This is your chance to inspire, motivate, and make a positive impact in a fun, energetic, and community-focused environment.

• Lead dynamic group fitness classes and provide personal training sessions for participants of all ages and fitness levels.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive environment by tailoring workouts to meet individual needs and abilities.
• Use effective coaching techniques to help participants reach their goals safely and confidently.
• Communicate with participants and team members to ensure programs are engaging and successful.

• Follow established safety and risk management procedures to keep everyone safe.

• Flexible part-time schedule.

• Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: At least 6 months in the fitness/wellness industry (preferred experience with diverse fitness levels and ages).
• Certifications: Current nationally recognized certification in Personal Training, Group Exercise, or branded formats (e.g., NASM, AFAA, Zumba).
  A degree in Exercise Science, Physiology, or Kinesiology may substitute for certification.
