Driver - Crating - Div

Essential Functions

• Transporting products to customer sites using bobtail or flat‑bed trucks; loading and unloading using forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Driving in congested traffic in both urban and rural areas.
• Obtaining signatures on delivery orders and forwarding them to dispatch or manager.
• Performing local deliveries and pick‑ups only.
• Pre‑ and post‑trip duties: perform pre‑trip inspections, report vehicle issues or accidents immediately, maintain clean truck presentation.
• Act as a safe & efficient facility team member: report equipment defects, follow procedures, speak up about unsafe conditions, perform tasks according to SOP, collaborate with team.

• Assisting with vehicle maintenance as directed.

• Minimum driver age 23 years.
• At least 2 years verifiable driving experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record (no more than 2 violations in last three years, no DUI).
• Ability to push/pull up to 75 pounds or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Pass pre‑employment drug screen.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Bilingual (English‑Spanish) preferred.
• Visual acuity 20/70 or better; field of vision at least 110 degrees.

• Sitting: primarily sedentary work.
• Standing: sustained periods.
• Climbing: ascending/descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps.
• Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, vision, alertness: all performed occasionally to frequently.

• Environmental: exposed to outside conditions; protection from weather may be limited; extreme cold (100°F) for extended periods.
• Noise: high ambient noise requiring shouting to be heard.
• Vibration: exposure to oscillating movements.
• Hazards: moving mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, high places, chemicals.
• Atmospheric: fumes, dust, mists, gases, poor ventilation.
• Close quarters: crawl spaces, shafts, small enclosed rooms.
• Narrow quarters: restricted aisles or passageways.
• Irregular/extended work hours beyond typical 8 am-5 pm shift.
