The job duties listed below describe the general nature of the work; some incumbent’s duties may differ. • Transporting products to customer sites using Bobtail or flat‑bed trucks (most sites are warehouses or factories; loading docks may be used).
• Driving in congested traffic in both urban and rural areas.
• Obtaining signatures on delivery orders and giving the signed delivery orders to dispatch or manager.
• Performing local deliveries and pick‑ups only.
• Loading and unloading trucks and trailers using forklifts and/or pallet jacks in a strategic and efficient manner.
• Performing pre‑trip truck inspections.
• Ensuring safety by reporting all vehicle issues or accidents immediately.
• Maintaining a clean truck presentation.
• Addressing and reporting all equipment defects or maintenance needs to maintain safe and efficient use.
• Following all procedures, policies, and knowing the equipment before using it.
• Speaking up when observing something unsafe or someone performing unsafe acts.
• Efficiently performing work according to standard operating procedures.
• Collaborating with other team members to accomplish tasks safely in a fast‑paced production environment.

Assisting with vehicle maintenance as directed.

• Minimum driver age 23 years.
• At least 2 years verifiable driving experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid residency state driver’s license.
• Clean driving record with no more than 2 driving violations in the last three years; no DUI or other serious violations.
• Ability to push and pull up to 75 pounds using pallet jack, or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
• Visual acuity 20/70 or better, with field of vision at least 110 degrees.

Primarily sedentary work. Standing, walking, climbing ladders, stairs or ramps, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 75 pounds are required. Movement of lower and upper extremities, back muscles, and use of hands and fingers are frequent. Adequate vision, hearing, alertness, and the ability to communicate are necessary.

Work occurs both indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions. Employees may be exposed to extreme temperatures (below 32°F or above 100°F), noise, vibration, moving mechanical parts, hazardous chemicals, high places, confined spaces, narrow aisles, and irregular or extended work hours.
