The Drivers – Tanker Endorsement Required role is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Elgin, TX. In this role, you will safely operate commercial trucks with tanker loads to transport materials between customer locations, facilities, and designated sites in accordance with all DOT, company, and environmental regulations. You will perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, monitor load security, maintain accurate driving logs and manifests, and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns.
Daily responsibilities include interacting with customers in a professional manner, following scheduled routes, adhering to service timelines, and ensuring proper handling of materials. You will also work closely with dispatch and operations teams, comply with personal protective equipment and safety policies, and support a clean, safe work environment.
- Commercial driving skills, including Truck Driving with tanker loads and safe operation of a Truck in various conditions.
- Valid CDL Class A license with required Tanker endorsement and a strong record of regulatory compliance.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with customers, dispatch, and team members.
- Commitment to safety, including adherence to DOT regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
- Ability to perform vehicle inspections, basic troubleshooting, and accurate documentation of routes and loads.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in waste, environmental services, or transportation is an asset.
- Capability to work on‑site, meet physical requirements of driving and material handling, and maintain reliable attendance.
