Inventory Logistics Specialist

Job Description

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Location: ON-SITE, Round Rock, TX

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm This is a contract role.

Sirius Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Logistics Specialist to support one of our client's inventory and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for accurately receiving materials into inventory, entering and locating information within the inventory management system, and safely handling chemical materials in accordance with company safety procedures.

The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials, match packing slips to purchase orders, and accurately enter material data into the inventory management system
• Tag and identify materials while ensuring all required documentation is completed and properly filed
• Maintain accurate inventory records, including material locations and status updates
• Locate and retrieve inventory information for team members and supervisors as needed
• Handle chemical materials safely and in compliance with company Health & Safety procedures
• Assist with segregation and proper handling of expired or non-conforming materials
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely and accurate inventory updates
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked work area to support uninterrupted operations
• Perform additional data entry and inventory support duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in data entry, inventory control, warehouse operations, or material handling preferred
• Strong computer and data entry skills with high attention to detail
• Comfortable working around chemicals in a warehouse environment (training provided)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
