Personal Finance Advisor

Overview

As a personal finance advisor, you’re responsible for developing and maintaining lasting and trusting business relationships with members and clients to ensure their satisfaction. You listen to their needs, offer tailored advice, and help them select appropriate solutions to achieve their financial goals.

• Advise members and clients on the best strategies and work with them to identify expected results.
• Manage business relationships, assess member/client satisfaction and service quality, follow up and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date on the financial services industry, market trends and best practices.
• Participate in outreach activities and represent the caisse in the community.
• Recommend investments, loans and insurance products, balancing member/client satisfaction with business objectives, profitability and prudent risk management.
• Collaborate with partners and experts to design integrated strategies that meet clients’ needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• A minimum of one year of relevant experience (other combinations of qualifications and experience may be considered).
• Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers (preferred).
• Knowledge of French is required.
• Action oriented, customer focused, results driven, interpersonal savvy, nimble learning.
