Take on the role of Scoop Operator at IAMGOLD's Westwood Mine. Safely load, haul, and dump materials in a critical underground mining function.
IAMGOLD is looking for experienced Scoop Operators for the Eastwood Development project. In this position, you will operate a LH410 yard scoop to manage ore and waste, guaranteeing safety on the job. Experience in underground operations and a commitment to safety are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate LH410 yard scoop safely and efficiently
• Load, haul, and dump materials from development areas
• Maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Enforce safety measures in all operations
• Work collaboratively with underground team members
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years as a Scoop Operator
• 2+ years as an underground Equipment Operator
• Strong understanding of mining safety practices
• Eligibility to work in Canada
• Commitment to teamwork and safety standards
