Landfill Gas Pump Technician

Tomorrow RNG is seeking a Landfill Gas Pump Technician to support renewable natural gas operations at landfill sites. You will monitor, operate, and maintain landfill gas collection, piping, and pumping systems that convert organic waste into low carbon fuel. Responsibilities include field inspections, data logging, equipment troubleshooting, and routine mechanical/electrical maintenance on pumps, wells, valves, and blowers. You'll work closely with engineers and operators to optimize system performance, ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, and support projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, and maintain landfill gas collection and pumping systems to support RNG production
• Inspect wells, headers, and blowers; record pressure, flow, and temperature data
• Perform routine maintenance on pumps, valves, and related mechanical/electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot leaks, blockages, and performance issues in gas collection systems
• Follow safety, environmental, and regulatory procedures for landfill and gas operations
• Collaborate with project engineers and operators to optimize system performance
• Document work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities accurately
• Support contractors and vendors during repairs, upgrades, and system expansions
