Branch Sales Manager

D.R. Horton, Inc., the largest home builder in the U.S., was founded in 1978 and is a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange. It is engaged in the construction and sale of high quality homes designed principally for the entry-level and first time move-up markets. The company also provides mortgage financing and title services for home buyers through its mortgage and title subsidiaries.

D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Branch Sales Manager for their Financial Services Branch Department. The right candidate will lead the Loan Officers in meeting or exceeding branch/company objectives.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Coaching loan officers on sales techniques and focusing on increasing levels of business
  • Reviewing the PTC report
  • Reviewing and monitoring the production summary report
  • Reviewing the lock expiration reports along with the overage/concessions report
  • Day-to-day problem solving with loan officers
  • Training loan officers
  • Spending time in building sales offices
  • Tracking application capture rate
  • Leading weekly loan officer meetings
  • Attending weekly meetings with the builder
  • Tracking closing capture rate
  • Recruiting
  • Reviewing customer surveys with loan officers
  • Attending realtor functions
  • Reviewing performance of the loan officers

Supervisory responsibilities include:

  • Directly supervising two or more loan officers
  • Carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.

    A.) from four-year college or university; or six to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • State specific licenses for loan origination, if applicable
