Job Overview
We are looking for a warm, patient, and engaging caregiver for our 2½-year-old daughter, who has autism and is making great progress with her communication.
QualificationsIdeally, you have experience in speech-language pathology, are an SLPA, speech-language pathology student, special education teacher, RBT, or have worked with young children with autism and language delays.
ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for someone who can naturally incorporate speech and language development into everyday play and routines. Activities may include reading books, imaginative play, sensory play, singing, and encouraging communication.
Our daughter is happy, curious, and enjoys books, letters, music, and interactive play. We are looking for someone who is energetic, creative, and genuinely enjoys helping young children learn.
We are hoping to find someone who can become a consistent part of our daughter’s developmental journey while also providing loving, attentive care.
