Premier Vet Care is Hiring a Veterinary Assistant!

Role: Veterinary Assistant
Status: Full-time
Salary: $14.00–$16.00 per hour
Schedule: Four days per week, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM, with rotating Saturday shifts from 7:30 AM–12:00 PM
Work Location: In person

As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in keeping our hospital running smoothly and helping every patient feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

What You’ll Do

  • Support veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Provide compassionate, attentive care to patients throughout their visits.
  • Safely handle and restrain patients as needed.
  • Prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, instruments, and equipment.
  • Help keep patient-care areas clean, organized, stocked, and ready for the next appointment.
  • Comfort and reassure nervous or anxious pets.
  • Assist with client education and communication as directed by the veterinary team.
  • Support daily hospital operations and help keep patient care running smoothly.
  • Collaborate with teammates and jump in wherever support is needed.
