Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Principal/Sr Principal Project Management Analyst to lead day‑to‑day supply chain and subcontract execution activities supporting the Aerospace Vehicle Equipment (AVE) for the Sentinel Program. The position reports to the Global Supply Chain Program Manager (GSC PM) and requires regular in‑office presence (hybrid/telework not permitted).

• Supports GSC activities throughout all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP) related to the segment’s content.
• Leads cross‑functional GSC coordination among Engineering, Logistics, Mission Assurance, Quality, Program, and Supply Chain stakeholders.
• Applies critical thinking and synthesis to develop solutions to complex problems and escalates performance challenges to the GSC PM.
• Assists the GSC PM in meetings, process definition, improvement, and training of key program, engineering, and GSC personnel.
• Establishes priorities with the Procurement and Planning teams and aligns subcontract support resources for projects.
• Accountable for program and GSC personnel execution throughout the acquisition process.
• Acquires, organizes, and standardizes key subcontractor and supplier information for the segment.
• Builds and presents program‑level leadership briefings focused on parts status and critical milestones.
• Focuses on financial forecasting, using MRP system to track and drive requirements fulfillment, and maintains the approved supplier list.

Standard schedule: 9/80 (nine‑hour days Monday‑Thursday with every other Friday off).

• Principal Project Manager: 5 years with a Bachelor's; 3 years with a Master's; 1 year with a PhD, or equivalent experience.
• Sr Principal Project Manager: 8 years with a Bachelor's; 6 years with a Master's; 4 years with a PhD, or equivalent experience.
• U.S. citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance and recent investigation.
• Knowledge of supply‑chain management techniques for cost‑reimbursable subcontracting.
• Ability to build trusted relationships & lead cross‑functional teams.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Travel domestically and internationally.
• Experience presenting to executive leadership; supplier management experience with large critical suppliers.

• Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or technical field.
• Demonstrated major subcontractor management experience.
• Experience with suppliers manufacturing chemicals, specialty materials, or aircraft systems.
• Special program access.
• 3+ years of team leadership/managing.
