Northrop Grumman Strategic Deterrent Systems division in Roy, UT is seeking a Software Engineer/Principal Software Engineer Test. This position will be part of our Air Vehicle Equipment (AVE) Integration and Test (I&T) team to plan and execute vehicle level integration, test and checkout activities supporting the Sentinel, formerly Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD), program.

What you'll get to do:
• Define test requirements and test objectives, using Systems Engineering principles
• Assist the team in the development of integration and test documentation (test plans, test procedures and test reports)
• Participate in the execution of the integration, test, and assembly of the AVE in preparation for developmental flight testing
• Integrate hardware from sub-system teams, interface with other elements teams, and the system and segment level teams
• Work with management to establish test schedules and resource management framework for execution of tests
• Architect, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment
• Interface with software developers and systems engineers in support of integration and test activities
• Perform data analysis against requirements and interfaces for each software build or hardware component
• Compile data and define changes required in test equipment, test procedures, or new test requirements
• Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements

Qualifications:

• Engineer Test: 02 Years with Bachelors in relevant field of study; 00 Years with Masters or 04 additional years in lieu of a degree.
• Principal Engineer Test: 05 Years with Bachelors in relevant field of study; 03 Years with Masters; 00 Years with PhD or 04 additional years in lieu of a degree. Required for both levels:
• Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.
• U.S. Citizen and Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
• Working knowledge of system integration (HW and SW) and test principles
• Experience leading a test team through execution of a test campaign (plans, procedures, reviews).
