Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Staff Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst to join its team of diverse and qualified individuals. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program in the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) division. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Earned Value Management (EVM) Analyst to support SDS programs by using EVM principles to analyze, track, and report on project performance, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company procedures.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesEVM Analysis and Reporting
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets data related to project costs, schedules, and performance.
- Prepares and presents comprehensive EVM reports to stakeholders, including variance analysis and forecasts.
- Identifies potential cost and schedule risks, issues, and recommends corrective actions.
- Ensures compliance with industry standards (e.g., ANSI/EIA-748, EVMS) and company procedures.
- Maintains the integrity of the EVMS and ensures its proper implementation.
- Provides guidance and training to project teams on EVM principles and best practices.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of programmatic budgets and financial plans.
- Participates in financial auditing and assessment of completed projects.
- Collaborates with program management, business management, scheduling, and technical teams.
- Requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.)
- Requires a bachelor’s degree with 12 years of related professional experience; 10 years with a master's degree; 8 years with a PhD; or 16 years of related experience may be accepted with a HS Diploma (or equivalent) in lieu of a degree
- Requires experience with MS Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel(including Pivot tables, V-Look Up, VBA and/or Macros)
- Requires experience with EVMS Software (i.e., SAP, SAP BW, Deltek Cobra, Open Plan, MPM, Acumen One IWO, Primavera P6)
- Requires a minimum 3 years experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) Principals and applying Earned Value Techniques in an Aerospace & Defense environment
- Requires experience managing and analyzing project costs using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
- Requires experience supporting contracts with EVMS requirements
