Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Principal Systems Test Engineer / Senior Principal Systems Test Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

In support of the Sentinel System Test Team and the Test Strategy Pivot, collaborate across all functions within the program to develop advanced test campaign plans, concepts, techniques and requirements.

• Coordinate test event and test article schedules, and provide liaison assistance between the interfacing Product and Test Teams.
• Support the Test Team with vertical and horizontal program test integration activities in Roy Utah.

• Have 5 years of systems test experience with a Bachelors in Science; 3 years with a Masters; 1 year with a PhD, or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree for the Principal Systems Test Engineer level.
• Have 8 years with a Bachelors; 6 years with a Masters; 4 years with a PhD of systems test experience, or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree for the Senior Principal Systems Test Engineer level.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at the time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period.
• Experience with development of test plans, procedures, and reports (functional testing and checkout).
• Demonstrated test campaign planning knowledge and experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles and execution of a large complex program.

• Experience with the Atlassian Suite of tools (Confluence, Jira).
• Experience with high level customer engagement.
• Experience with schedule management, risk management and performance management.
• Experience facilitating Program Reviews.
• Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM).
• Experience leading hardware procurement/supply chain operations.
• Possesses strong leadership qualities, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in system development and working within a multi-team environment.
• Experience with Tableau and data analytics.
• Experience with earned value management knowledge in a program management capacity.
• Experience with Agile Project Management.
• Experience with creating and monitoring test metrics.
• Experience with a Test environment.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
