Systems Engineer (Level
2) / Principal Systems Engineer (Level
3)
- Develop use cases, requirements definition and allocation, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification & validation, and requirements traceability for the Sentinel Program.
- Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to generate systems engineering and design artifacts.
- Work with technical teams and stakeholders to mature architecture content for large program designs.
- Incorporate and represent appropriate requirements in the system model.
- Develop system architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical).
- Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis.
- Create model development techniques, procedures, and integration processes.
The position may be hired at Level 2 or Level 3 depending on qualifications.
Systems Engineer (Level 2)- Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 2 years of applicable engineering experience OR Master’s degree and 0 years.
- U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Ability to obtain Enhanced Security Clearances within a reasonable time.
- 1 year of experience reviewing requirements in DOORS or a similar tool.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5 years of related engineering experience, including 3 years with a master’s and 1 year with a Ph.D.
- U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Ability to obtain Enhanced Security Clearances within a reasonable time.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- 2+ years of experience developing or reviewing requirements in DOORS or a similar tool.
- 2+ years of experience in ICBM (MMIII or Sentinel) or complex aerospace/defense systems.
- Understanding of the Systems Engineering V‑Model.
- Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS).
- Experience in SysML or UPDM modeling languages.
- Proficiency with DoDAF, UAF, or other modeling frameworks.
- Experience modeling with Cameo Enterprise Architecture, Magic Draw, or other architecture tools.
- Experience using tools to model large systems with multiple developers.
- Experience in software and/or hardware design.
- Experience documenting Interface Control Documents, Interface Requirement Specifications, and Interface Description Documents.
- Experience in the military aerospace development environment.
- Experience with weapon systems.
- Experience exporting documentation from a model‑based environment.
- Experience with Agile Development.
- Experience with ICBM weapon system sustainment engineering and integration.
- Experience with complex system development on large programs.

Standard work schedule: 9/80.
SalaryPrimary Level: $79,300 – $131,400.
Secondary Level: $98,400 – $163,200.
