Northrop Grumman's Sentinel Program is looking to add a Principal Systems Engineer to support the System Test Team (STT) in Roy, UT
. The selected engineer will be responsible for multiple tasks within requirements and verification for STT. The engineer will be responsible for performing tasks dealing with requirements identification, review, allocation, integrated test planning, verification planning, and requirements traceability.
- Identify, analyze, review, and refine system‑level requirements in partnership with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and the customer
- Allocate requirements to test teams (lab, ground, flight) and keep Integrated Test Plans/Verification Plans current
- Document verification needs, develop verification artifacts, generate requirement‑verification reports, and manage approval workflows
- Create and maintain Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for test tools and facilities
- Collaborate across disciplines—mechanical, software, test, and program management—to gain end‑to‑end insight into the Sentinel missile and Northrop Grumman processes
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience, or 3 years of experience with a Master's degree.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope (< 6 yrs), with an ability to obtain and maintain SAP approval within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
- Familiarity with the Systems Engineering process and test‑engineering practices
- Hands‑on test‑engineering or test‑execution work
- Systems Engineering experience on aerospace or defense programs
- Proficiency with requirements‑management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS)
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance (in scope
