Mission Assurance Engineer / Principal Mission Assurance Engineer – provides on‑site support to our Roy, Utah Sentinel Team.
Responsibilities- Support MA functions to ensure mission success.
- Conduct technical reviews of Sentinel drawings, Statements of Work and requirements documents as required.
- Ensure quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of Sentinel achievements.
- Assess Sentinel performance and risks, determine resources to ensure mission assurance.
- Assist Program Quality Managers with all Sentinel Mission Assurance and Program Management requirements.
- Support, develop, implement and maintain Sentinel Program Quality Plans.
- Facilitate Sentinel program FRBs, identify root cause, implement corrective actions and reach‑back.
- Assist PQM in preparation and execution of Program Preventive and Corrective Action Board (PCAB).
- Develop and maintain Sentinel Program Metrics; aid in producing Program Management Review packages.
- Support PQM with Sentinel Customer Corrective Action Requests.
- Support IPT MA and QE in Conditional Acceptance requirements and flow‑down.
- Monitor timely closure of Conditionally Accepted hardware and coordinate corrective actions with IPT MA and QEs.

Standard work schedule is a 9/80 (nine‑hour days Monday‑Thursday, every other Friday off).
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor of Science degree with 2 years experience, or Master’s or Ph.D. (Mission Assurance Engineer).
- Bachelor of Science degree with 5 years experience, or Master’s with 3 years, or Ph.D. with 1 year (Principal Mission Assurance Engineer).
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance awarded or reviewed in the last 6 years, with ability to obtain PAR.
- Experience with quality management systems to support program processes, audits and improvements.
- Experience with manufacturing and quality assurance processes.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
- Experience with Mission Assurance Engineering, Quality Engineering practices or manufacturing floor inspections.
- Experience reviewing technical documents (drawings, Statements of Work, requirements).
- Experience in processing, monitoring, data collection, analysis and metric reporting for programs.
- Experience with manufacturing, quality controls, inspection and non‑conformance controls.
- Test experience writing and executing test procedures and plans.
Primary Level: $98,400.00 – $;
Secondary Level: $0.00 – $0.00. Base pay may be complemented by overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus and long‑term incentives.
