The Sentinel program offers an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer to support activities including use case development, requirements definition/allocation, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification & validation, and requirements traceability. You will collaborate with program IPT counterparts and work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature architecture content for large program designs.

• Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering and design artifacts.
• Work with technical teams and stakeholders to mature architecture content of large program designs.
• Help develop and incorporate appropriate requirements into the system model.
• Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis.
• Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes for model development, tool integration, and team integration.
• Generate or review design artifacts to support System Safety analyses used in maturing weapons system design for safety and to support flight test and flight worthiness of complex systems.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80.

• Bachelor’s in Science in a STEM field with at least 8 years of related experience, OR at least 6 years of relevant experience with a master’s degree.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance and an investigation date within the last 6 years.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Special Program Access in a reasonable time frame.
• Experience managing cost, schedule, and performance of large government technical statements of work.
• Experience with system safety MIL‑STD‑882E (or similar) technical teams on large complex systems.
• Experience with AFSPCMAN 91-710, RCC 319-14, and/or RCC 324-11.

• Experience preparing a large complex system for functional testing/verification.
• Familiarity with NEPA and facilities development.
• Safety Professional (ASP) Certificate.
• Weapon System Experience (e.g., Minuteman III or similar).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
