Position SummaryThe Nuclear Hardness & Survivability Engineer will join the Nuclear Hardness & Survivability (NH&S) team in Roy, UT to support the Sentinel Program. The role involves contributing to the development of the world’s most advanced weapon system.
Responsibilities- Defining NH&S environments.
- Radiation transport modeling and simulation.
- Radiation effects circuit analysis.
- Ground shock and thermal effects analysis.
- Effects of electromagnetic pulses on electronics.
- NHS qualification testing and analysis of semiconductors.
- NHS qualification testing and analysis of the GBSD systems, subsystems and equipment.
- U.S. Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance at the time of application.
- Ability to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances within a reasonable time determined by the company.
- Bachelor of Science Degree (T01). Bachelor of Science + 2 years of experience or Master’s degree (T02).
- Basic understanding of scripting/programming languages (MATLAB, Python, or similar).
- 1+ year experience with electrical modeling (SPICE).
- Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain SAP approval.
- Experience in embedded hardware and software qualification testing for circuit card assemblies.
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-1766C, MIL-STD-750, MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-461.
- Radiation shielding design and verification modeling using MCNP or GEANT
4. - Modeling semiconductor radiation effects (TID, NDD, PGDR, SEE) using PSPICE.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Weapon System experience (Sentinel, Minuteman III, or similar).
- Master’s degree in electrical or nuclear engineering.

Standard work schedule: 9/80 (nine‑hour day Monday through Thursday, alternate Fridays off).
CompensationPrimary Level Salary Range: $65,800.00 - $98,800.00. Secondary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $.
