- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Participate in orientation and training provided on the job.
- Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Maintain accurate money handling, including making correct monetary change.
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Essential math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make rapid and accurate movements.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Basic computer skills for order entry.
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash or performing other outside tasks.
- In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F to 90°F or higher in some work areas.
- Sudden changes in temperature in the work area and while outside.
- Fumes from food odors and exposure to cornmeal dust.
- Cramped quarters, including walk‑in cooler.
- Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Stand for most tasks; walking surfaces include ceramic tile or linoleum in some food process areas.
- Complete paperwork at a desk or table.
- Lift bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds with dimensions up to 3' × 1.5'. Heavy cases are stacked up to 72" high.
- Carry large cans (up to 3 lb 7 oz) and pizza sauce (up to 30 lb) to storage or front of store.
- Trays of pizza dough are carried three at a time (~12 lb per tray) over short distances.
- Push or pull trays on dollies; a stack on a dolly (24"–30") requires up to 7.5 lb of force.
- Briefly navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs or wash walls.
