PositionPrincipal Program Control Analyst (level
3) – located onsite daily in Roy, UT.
This Program Control Analyst will interface with program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements. Candidates will possess expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM) and performance measurement baseline concepts, applying them to multiple contracts and control accounts within an engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT).
Earned Value Management tasks include establishing the work breakdown structure, maintaining performance criteria, justifying estimates, supporting internal and external reporting, budgeting, cost risk analysis, preparing government cost performance reports, and analyzing performance measurement variance.
- Ability to use financial systems, learn basic EVMS principles, and apply cost performance reporting/analysis skills.
- Develop and implement solutions of moderate scope and complexity.
- Analyze variances and develop new methods and process techniques.
- Work under general supervision while completing numerous assignments and escalating issues to management.
- Guide and influence peers and internal customers.
- Maintain strong interpersonal skills and represent the group on special projects.
Additional duties may include supporting the development of budget baselines, maintaining cost/schedule integration, preparing budgets, schedules, ETC/EAC; performing financial performance analyses; supporting variance analysis reports; facilitating program monthly rhythm; supporting EVM system updates using Deltek Cobra, SAP/S4, wInsight, Tableau/Power
BI, and using MS Excel / Project / PowerPoint.
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, OR Master's degree with 3 years of experience in Business Management, Finance, Accounting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Experience in Government Contracting with Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Experience with Business systems (SAP, Cobra) and using Cobra in a Government Earned Value Management rhythm.
- Financial forecasting experience with EVMS or government cost reporting.
- Ability to work onsite daily in Roy, UT.
- Have or be able to obtain a final adjudicated U.S. government Secret Clearance within a reasonable period of time.
Applicable Earned Value Management experience must be listed on your resume in order to be considered for the level 3 role.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in Government Contracting with Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Experience with Business systems (SAP, Cobra) and using Cobra in a Government Earned Value Management rhythm.
- Financial forecasting experience with EVMS or government cost reporting.
- Experience with the AOP (annual operating plan) and LRSP (long range strategic plan) processes.
- Understanding of U.S. Government procurement and contracting, Cost Accounting Standards, and FAR.
- Ability to identify issues and problems across multiple contracts and make recommendations for mitigation.
