Northrop Grumman Defense Systems has an opening for a Command Systems Restructure Program Manager 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and support the Sentinel Program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What You’ll Get To Do
  • Lead the Business Unit as the Program Manager for Sentinel Restructure.
  • Own the Business Unit programmatic execution to include program integration within the Business Unit, Suppliers, Customers and other Stakeholders as necessary.
  • Detect, triage and mitigate early stage incidents that could become schedule, cost, and blockers.
  • Assemble and lead cross functional teams to develop an Integrated Master Schedule (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Test, Software).
  • Produce rapid, data driven recommendations and coordinate them with executive sponsors for rapid resolution.
  • Ensure program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated and have what they need for success.
  • Develop and adhere to master plans and schedules.
  • Conduct thorough risk & opportunity identification and management practices.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine‑hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience or Master's degree and 6 years of related experience
  • Managing people preferred
  • US Citizenship with Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years and Active Sentinel special access clearance (PAR)
  • Experience as an EVMS Control Account Manager (CAM)
These Qualifications Would Be Nice To Have
  • 2+ years of related experience working on the Sentinel program in various positions
  • Proven leader; problem solver; strong work ethic; excellent communications and interpersonal skills for close work with teammates, stakeholders and customers
  • 3+ years of experience formally leading engineering teams/and/or organizations to achieve a common goal
  • Ability to brief Segment, Program and Customer leadership
  • Experience working across multiple functional organizations (Engineering, Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, Logistics, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Northrop Grumman build execution, processes, procedures, tools and metrics
  • Experience with ICBM programs
  • Familiarization with program proposals
  • Experience with complex system development on large programs
  • Active TS clearance

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
