Northrop Grumman is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst / Principal Industrial Security Analyst. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Strategic Deterrent System (SDS) Division. The selected candidate will serve as the Security Education and Training Awareness Specialist for the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

This position will ensure the development, documentation, and presentation of classified security education, awareness, and training activities. It will analyze, investigate, and resolve classified security issues while providing leadership and guidance to employees, supervisors, and managers on actions to ensure compliance with the classified security program for both the Program Security and Collateral Security Teams. The role also supports the Facility Security Officer and the Contractor Special Access Program Security Officer.

Responsibilities include conducting indoctrination and refresher training for General, non-SAP/SAP-specific, or company-wide security briefings and processing and uploading all associated training documentation and annual pre-screening questionnaires into the government system of record.

Standard work schedule is a 9/80. This means a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday with every other Friday off. This position can be filled as Level 2 or Level 3.

You’ll Bring These

Qualifications:

Industrial Security Analyst
:
Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of related experience, or Master’s Degree with 0 years of related experience (an additional 4 years may be considered in lieu of degree).

Principal Industrial Security Analyst
:
Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of related experience, or Master’s Degree with 3 years of related experience, or 1 year of related experience with a PhD (an additional 4 years may be considered in lieu of degree).

Required For Both Level(s)

• Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company.
• Working knowledge of JADE, DISS or SIMS
• Familiarity with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), DoD 5205.07 and related security instructions
• Meticulous record-keeping and accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets
• Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills for effective communications and customer service
• Experience briefing and training personnel, customers, and stakeholders at all levels
• Computer and desktop Microsoft Office software experience

Nice To Have

• Self-starter with minimal supervision
• Completed security training (e.g., CDSE) is a plus
• Basic knowledge of access controls and security systems
• Ability to demonstrate tact, discretion, and diplomacy

Primary Level Salary Range: $63,800.00 - $95,800.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $78,700.00 - $

The above ranges are guidelines; base offers consider the scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Some positions may include overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses.
