As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Security Clearance in Roy, UT
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access requirements, and support compliance with site rules, protocols, and restricted area procedures.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of patrol activities, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, and relay relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
