As a netting barrier contractor in Salt Lake City, Utah, our mission is to provide industry-leading design and installation of the highest-quality netting system barriers. We listen closely to the needs of our customers and provide timely communication and construction. We extensively train our field crews in the art of creating beautiful netting systems.

• Certified welder and fabricator at Judge Netting Mountain West executes fabrication of all netting poles used or sold by the company.
• This role oversees all aspects of production, fabrication and welding specifications.
• The role also requires hands-on FCAW-G pipe welding leadership in 5G and 1G positions, oversight of welding quality standards, fit-up, layout, and compliance with AWS D1.1 standards.

• 2–4 years of welding or fabrication experience.
• Excellent welding and metal fit-up skills.
• Ability to read engineering plans, shop drawings, WPSs, and fabrication specifications.
• Strong proficiency with FCAW-G welding on carbon steel pipe in 5G and 1G positions.
• Experience welding variable pipe sizes and wall thicknesses.
• Communication :
  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and proactive approach to work.

• Time Management :
  Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure.
  Teamwork :
  High emotional intelligence (EQ), plus strong coordination skills.
• Other :
  Fluent in English. Valid driver’s license. Live in Utah. Pass background check and random drug testing.

Our team is paid weekly. Following the introductory period, a progression and performance review will be conducted annually to assess performance to date, and to clarify or modify this arrangement.

Medical coverage will be provided through our company’s employee benefit plan and is offered after 60 days of employment. The company covers 85% of the employees. The employee is responsible for covering 15% of their own costs, and 100% of costs for any dependents. Health insurance coverage is offered through United Healthcare in Utah.

The company offers $30 per month for cell phone use reimbursement and $40 per day for per diem when working out of town (some exclusions apply). The company also offers a $500 safety bonus, which is based on safety bonus fund. Safety bonus will be pro-rated based on hire date.

The company offers an optional 401k plan after 90 days of employment.

Overtime policy:
Over 40 hours: 1.5 times the regular rate. Over 60 hours: 1.75 times the regular rate. Over 70 hours: double the regular rate.

Per Company Policy, employment is At-Will with a 90-day introductory period. All employees are subject to random (and mandatory, where required) drug tests. This offer is contingent upon successfully passing a background check, successfully passing a drug test, being able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States and being deemed insurable to drive a vehicle by our insurance carrier.
