Day Camp Craft Counselor

Position Summary:

The Day Camp Craft Counselor is responsible for planning, preparing and teaching how to make crafts to children ages 5 - 12, during summer Day Camp.

Essential Responsibilities:

* Plan and prepare for crafts for each class time during summer Day Camp

* Assist with the purchasing of supplies

* Responsible for the safety and supervision of campers in each class, with assistance of their counselor

* Attend all staff meetings

* Prepare and clean meeting space after each session

* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education/

Experience:

* High school diploma or GED, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

* Some college preferred

* Some experience in working with and teaching children

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

* Some artistic and creative skills and experience preferred

Computer

Skills:

* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365

* Working knowledge of TEAMS and Share Point

* Willingness to learn new software as needed

Certificates and Licenses:

* Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed

* Complete First Aid/CPR certification within 30 days
