We are in need of a Superintendent to lead and oversee large-scale commercial construction projects exceeding $20M. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in complex project management, a strong understanding of the commercial construction industry, and a passion for delivering high-quality results. This role requires a dynamic individual who can take on challenges, drive project success, and contribute to the company’s reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

Oversee all stages of the project life cycle: planning, design, construction, occupancy, and close‑out.

Lead project teams and coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Maintain strict adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.

Direct and supervise workers, subcontractors, and work activities.

Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.

Implement an effective communication plan and ensure its execution throughout the project lifecycle.

Resolve work problems, disputes, or conflicts to ensure smooth project operation.

Ensure compliance with all building and safety codes and other regulations.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a superintendent in commercial, multifamily, education, or related sectors.
Proven experience managing projects exceeding $20M in size.
Broad understanding of the construction industry, including materials, methods, and tools.
Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to resolve project‑related issues efficiently.
Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the construction industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are an added advantage.
