Position Overview
Program Director for Nursing at Baker College’s Royal Oak campus, responsible for academic excellence, strategic vision, and daily operations of the Nursing program within the Health Division.
Responsibilities- Drive academic excellence and program relevance, ensuring alignment with the college’s mission and values.
- Cultivate a culture of compliance, collaboration, and integrity among faculty and students.
- Lead curriculum assessment, instructional effectiveness, and overall program quality.
- Partner with the academic dean to oversee day‑to‑day operations and the program’s ongoing success and impact.
- Master of Science in Nursing (Doctorate of Science in Nursing preferred).
- Current, unencumbered Michigan Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Prior teaching experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, and other internet‑based applications.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
