• As a Gas Leak Survey Technician, you will collaborate with the local utility operator to inspect natural gas assets statewide for our company, providing a critical service to ensure public safety.
• Experienced in performing leak surveys using sensitive equipment, identifying abnormal operating conditions (AOCs), and patrolling client infrastructure.
• Additionally, you will document and report your findings to the utility operator.
• Regional & Work Environment Considerations
• You will work in a variety of settings, outdoor;
  Some sites may include embankments, uneven terrain, or wet conditions and changing weather conditions.
• This means adapting to high heat, humidity, sudden storms, and cold temperatures.

• Conduct leak surveys using sensitive equipment.
• Identify and report abnormal operating conditions (AOCs) and leaks.
• Patrol and inspect infrastructure.
• Document and report findings accurately.
• Provide seamless customer service through customer interaction to address utility‑related concerns.
• Operating motor vehicle and performing work safely in the field.

• Occasional daytime advanced methane detection driving required as well

• Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• This job is considered “safety sensitive” and is subject to pre-employment background check and drug screening that includes screening for the presence of marijuana and marijuana metabolites.
• Must be able to walk up to 5 miles per day on various terrain and various weather conditions carrying a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Must be able to pass operator qualification (OQ) testing during training to become qualified to perform work in field.
• Willingness to work overtime if needed by the Company.
• Must be familiar with using a smart phone with apps to collect field data.
• Must be self‑motivated.
• Have strong communication skills and pay attention to details.
