Biomedical Engineer - Imaging. Corewell Health, Royal Oak, Michigan. NO VISA SPONSORSHIP OFFERED FOR THIS POSITION.
Diagnoses problems on diagnostic and therapeutic medical imaging equipment; repairs equipment or establishes a service plan; performs technical evaluations during RFP and purchase process; performs calibration, electrical, mechanical and radiation safety inspections and equipment acceptance testing; manages and performs preventative and corrective maintenance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or foreign equivalent in biomedical engineering or related field, plus 36 months of experience as a biomedical engineer or related.
- Experience must include at least 3 years installing, commissioning, and maintaining Siemens diagnostic imaging equipment (CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, angiography, interventional radiology, and radiation therapy equipment); hands‑on repair work at the component level; and performing technical evaluation of diagnostic medical equipment during RFP and purchase process.
