Job Summary:

The Associate Clinical Manager is responsible for direct supervision of all BCBA’s, Behavior Specialist’s, or BCaBA’s and oversight related to performance, quality, compliance and operations of all Behavior Services at assigned Autism Connections locations. These services include: ABA, Behavior Consults, and community outreach/trainings.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervises BCBA level clinicians at the site and responsible for direct service hours based on size of clinical team as follows:
    • 2 BCBA’s – 75 direct service hours monthly
    • 3 BCBA’s – 40 direct service hours monthly
    • 4 or more BCBA’s – no direct service hours
  • Oversees implementation of ABA program policies and procedures to ensure that services that are client focused, consistent, and delivered in a manner meets agency and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain QBS trainer certification and participate in required Judson Center trainings for Judson Center staff member.
  • Supports Clinical Manager in budgetary process including establishing and achieving productivity goals and revenue targets.
  • Assists and support in hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of all Autism Connection personnel and direct reports.
  • Agency contact with universities with oversight for BCBA Graduate Student Fieldwork supervisors.
  • Oversees monitoring and compliance including but not limited to: documentation checks, staff internal credentialing, external credentialing, billable hour requirements, staff training, clinical audits, and monthly/quarterly reporting in accordance with regulatory/contractual mandates.
  • Ensures the Behavior Services programs meet all contract, accreditation and regulatory requirements.
  • Develops positive working relationships with governmental bodies, funders, advocacy groups, schools and other stakeholders.
  • Overall management, direction, coordination, clinical oversight and evaluation of the center in a manner consistent with person and family-centered principles of service delivery.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of strategic growth plans for Autism Services programs.
  • Assures staff are appropriately trained, credentialed and privileged on an on-going basis as required for effective and/or regulatory/contractually mandated program and clinical services delivery.
  • Works to establish best-practice and/or evidence-based program logic models with external subject experts.
  • Ensures billable hours are met monthly by all supervises holding a caseload through monthly billable audits.
  • Participates in the development, review and intervention to support Autism Connection Key Performance Indicators.
  • Participates in all required trainings.
  • Attends all scheduled team meetings.
  • Completes all other assignments or duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Master’s Degree and Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a BCBA with individuals who have Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Ability to supervise staff in a manner that promotes staff growth and development
  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience, preferred
  • Effective verbal/written communication and presentation skills necessary to interact with a variety of internal and external constituencies.
  • Demonstrated competency in computer skills as well as ability to use standard business applications (e.g. Excel, Powerpoint, and Word).
