Legal Billing Specialist

Compensation: $50,000–$65,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a reputable law firm in Royal Oak, MI, to identify an experienced Billing Specialist for a full-time, direct hire opportunity. This role is fully on-site and ideal for a detail‑oriented professional with strong billing and invoicing expertise—preferably within a legal or professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and process client invoices with accuracy and timeliness
• Manage billing adjustments, write‑downs, and electronic billing submissions
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to resolve billing discrepancies
• Maintain billing records and ensure compliance with firm policies
• Assist with month‑end billing cycles and reporting as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous billing experience required; legal billing experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with billing or accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Salary range: $50,000–$65,000
