Founded in 1994, we are a global automotive supplier specializing in driveline, metal forming, and powertrain technologies supporting electric, hybrid, and internal combustion vehicles. Our Royal Oak, MI facility is a key hub for engineering and operational support, driving innovation, continuous improvement, and process optimization in a collaborative environment. We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.
This role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting safe, efficient operations.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead and develop maintenance staff through training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Oversee daily maintenance operations by assigning work, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring productivity, quality, and uptime targets are met
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to optimize operations, control costs, and resolve equipment or process issues efficiently
- Maintain accurate documentation and shift continuity through reporting, resource allocation, and communication across teams
What You Need for This Position
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training preferred
- 2+ years of leadership experience, including supervising, coaching, and developing maintenance teams
- Hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and CMMS systems, driving continuous improvement, preventive maintenance programs, and data-driven decision making
- Proven ability to improve safety, equipment reliability, and operational performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
