Dassault Systemes is seeking an accomplished sales leader to serve as Director of Sales - North American Automotive. Based in the Detroit, Michigan area, this executive leadership position is responsible for leading, developing, and growing Dassault Systemes' Automotive sales organization across North America. The Director will build and lead a high-performing enterprise sales team supporting Automotive OEMs and the Automotive Supplier and Supply Chain ecosystem while establishing strong executive relationships with C-level leaders across the automotive industry.
This leader will define and execute the business strategy for the Automotive market, drive organizational performance, develop top sales talent, and deliver sustainable revenue growth through strategic customer partnerships and enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
- Build, recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing enterprise sales team supporting Automotive OEMs and the Automotive Supplier and Supply Chain ecosystem throughout North America.
- Establish and expand executive relationships with C-level leaders across Automotive OEMs and the Automotive Supplier and Supply Chain ecosystem.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth by expanding strategic enterprise accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities across the North American automotive market.
- Lead complex, enterprise-wide sales engagements involving executive stakeholders, global account teams, and strategic partners.
- Champion value-based selling focused on business outcomes, digital transformation, Cloud/SaaS adoption, AI-enabled engineering, product development, and manufacturing modernization.
- Support customers through large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives utilizing the 3
DEXPERIENCE Platform and Dassault Systemes' industry solutions.
- 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience supporting Automotive OEMs and the Automotive Supplier and Supply Chain ecosystem.
- 5+ years of experience leading enterprise sales teams in complex, matrixed organizations.
- Demonstrated success exceeding revenue targets and growing strategic enterprise accounts.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Executive communication skills with the ability to build trusted C-level relationships.
- Expertise in strategic account planning and business development.
- Strong forecasting discipline and pipeline management capabilities.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and experience orchestrating complex enterprise deals.
- Customer-centric mindset with strong business and financial acumen.

- Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $262600 and $355900, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
