At Dreams Unlimited Clubhouse, we're looking for a Clubhouse Generalist who will work with members on seeking abilities and strengths in individuals and work toward recovery through meaningful activities. As a Generalist at Dreams, you will be working side‑by‑side with members in order to engage and participate in a 'work ordered day'.
We take pride in the units we have, among other tasks the successful candidate may work in any of which here at Dreams in order to engage members in the running of the Clubhouse. Some of the work may include creating, linking, and monitoring employment opportunities for Clubhouse members or helping run a very busy kitchen. We do require our Dreams Unlimited Clubhouse Generalists to do some reporting using Management Information Systems, but this is not a highly clinical position.
Generalists here at Dreams have the opportunity to plan social events with the members, and are responsible for providing transportation in the Dreams van. The ability to transport members to Clubhouse related activities and ensure maintenance of the agency vehicle by keeping it clean and in good condition during and after transportation is an absolute must! This person may also be out in the community meeting with employers in order to establish relationships and gain tradition/supported employment for our members.
Involvement in the Clubhouse enhances members' work and social‑skills, builds self-confidence, fosters a sense of belonging, and gives members a strong foundation to pursue their individual goals; working as a Clubhouse Generalist makes all this possible!
