Phlebotomist

Job Description:

Requirement/Must Have:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• High level of customer service experience and skills.
• Willingness to learn phlebotomy skills.
• Keyboard and data entry proficiency.
• Ability to handle patients with care and compassion.

• Minimum of 1 2 years of client-facing customer service experience.
• Prior phlebotomy experience is not required.

• Greet patients upon arrival and assist with check-ins using kiosks or handheld devices.
• Answer patient questions and address concerns with care and professionalism.
• Maintain the integrity and cleanliness of the waiting area.
• Assist with coverage during phlebotomist breaks when needed.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients to establish trust and confidence.
• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under supervisor direction.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive company image.
• Learn phlebotomy skills during downtime and perform specimen collection and processing once trained, following established procedures.
• Demonstrate excellence in customer care while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
