Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer Across the South EXTENSIVE TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED

We are currently recruiting for aField Service Engineer to join a growing renewable energy business, supporting assets across the South of the UK.

• Up to £45k base
• On-call allowance: £165 per week
• Overtime paid for call-outs (minimum 4 hours per call)
• Company van provided
• 26 days annual leave bank holidays
• Ongoing training (including Gas Safe and OEM systems)

As a Field Service Engineer
, you will be responsible for the maintenance, operation, and performance of power plant systems, ensuring high reliability and minimal downtime.

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across power generation plants
• Diagnose and repair faults on power generation systems
• Support installation, commissioning, and post-handover defect rectification
• Identify required spare parts and support asset reliability improvements
• Respond to breakdowns and participate in an on-call rota

• Experience work in a field based role
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across mechanical and basic electrical systems
• Experience completing service and inspection reports

• Monday to Friday (40 hours per week, between 8am–7pm)
• Overtime paid at 1.5x
• On-call rota: 1 week in 5 (Friday to Friday) – call outs paid at 1.5x for a minimum of 4 hours
• Frequent travel across the South with occasional overnight stays
